The Mammoth Hot Springs NPS Park Headquarters is the historic site of Fort Yellowstone. From 1886 to 1916 the U.S Army was in charge of protecting the park from poachers, vandals, robbers, and indians.

ATM's are located at Old Failthful Inn, Lake Yellowstone Hotel, Old Faithful Snow Lodge, Grant Village, Canyon Lodge. Banks in surrounding towns.
Currency Exchange:
Front desks of all park lodges: 8 am to 5 pm M-F.
Camping Supplies:
Hamilton Stores, Inc. since 1915. Camping and fishing equipment, film, groceries, ssundries, souvenirs at Hamilton Stores and Photo Shops throughout park. Mammoth Hot Springs store open year-round.
Emergencies/Medical Services:
Dial 911 for emergency, fire, medical or ranger assistance or to report accidents or injuries. Call 307-344-7381 to contact a park ranger. Emergency medical technicians and medics are on duty 24 hours a day, year-round.
– Mammoth Hot Springs Clinic: weekdays year-round.
– Old Faithful Clinic: early May to mid-October 307-545-7325.
– Lake Hospital at the north end of Yellowstone Lake: open seasonally w/24-hour ambulance and emergency service, 10 inpatient bed, lab, pharm, radiology. 307-242-7241.

Postal Services:
Main post office: historic 1930s building located at Mammoth Hot Springs.
Summer: Old Faithful, Lake Village, Canyon village, Grant Village.
Public Showers and Laundry:
Summer: Grant Village Campground, Fishing Bridge RV Park, Canyon Village Campground, and Old Faithful area have coin laundries and pay showers.
Lake Lodge, Old Faithful Snow Lodge: laundry facilities only. Old Faithful Lodge: showers only.
Winter: Mamoth Hot Springs and Old Faithful Snow Lodge have laundry.
Religious Services:
Numerous in-park locations during summer in neighborhood communities. Check visitor centers or lodging front desks and activity desks for times and locations.
Service Stations:
Seven full-service gas stations and four auto-towing and repair shops in the park. Only available during summer.

Teton Science School
Teton Science School in Grand Teton National Park offers experiential natural science education in a spectacular outdoor classroom. Summer: 2-6 week residential programs grades 7-12; weekly camp programs grades 3-8; 1-4 day adult field seminars. Winter Speaker Series and winter tracking course.
